this is pretty random, but i really really love beyonce's song halo, and due to my lack of i-tunes funds, i have been listening to it repeatedly on you tube.

i love love love the lyrics, the instruments in the background are moving, and i think the video is beautiful.

so i decided to share: (the only one i could link was this spanish subtitled one. think of it as a way to practicar tu espanol)

wedding part 1

mrs black widow.

last week, j and i went shopping at the sunflower market. we love that place for its fresh produce and good prices. we bought our groceries and brought them home.

we loaded our fridge with our new groceries: cucumbers, an onion, bell peppers, carrots, lettuce and a bag of red grapes.

a few days later, while making dinner together, j pulls out the bags of grapes and starts to eat them. i look down and noticed a spider web on a few of the grapes.

we filled a bowl with water and dumped the grapes in there to soak.

and up to the top floats this yucky thing:

it was squirming, and moving its 8 legs around..
in all the movement i was able to capture this shot:

i could not believe it. sick huh? i ran around frantically, and found myself standing on top of the couch telling josh to kill it. he put it in a jar, and took it to work the next day to show his brother.

anyways, it was an adventure i pray we will never have to live again.
